Description
Chistophilum is a vegetable ethanolic extract used as a special food additive for hepatobiliary system and bowel pathologies, allergic diseases, spasms of different localization and origin, in complex treatments of pre-tumor and tumor diseases.
Trade name: Chistophilum.
Pharmaceutical form: drops.
Composition of the vegetable extract: 0,1 % swallowwort sap solution prepared by the original Chinese method.
Pharmacological effect: the preparation has choleretic, spasmolytic, pain-killing, sedative, anti-inflammatory (bactericidal), diuretic, laxative action, suppresses malignant growth, displays fungistatic and bacteriostatic effect.
Indications: for chronic liver and gall bladder diseases, as a pain-killer for peptic ulcer cases, allergies of alimentary origin. It is used in complex treatment of pre-tumor and tumor conditions.
Special warnings: individual intolerance to the components of the preparation.
Administration: to be administered on doctor’s recommendations.
Dosage and method of administration: recommended dose is 10 drops 3 times a day to be taken neat or in 30 ml of still non-mineral water 30 min before meals. Treatment duration is 4-12 weeks.
For allergic diseases of alimentary origin the preparation is to be taken along with Hepatophilum for 12 weeks.
